If you are interested in starting your own paranormal research society then you need to have the right tools, otherwise you may find it difficult to perform an investigation. You wont need to go out and spend loads of money on EMF meters and digital recorders or anything, just a few things from your house would suffice. The three main things you should have is a decent camera, a recording device and some computer software to record some data.
A decent camera is very important. When you conducting a paranormal investigation then sometimes there will be things that are not visible to the naked eye and that can only be seen in a photo, such as orbs. The better quality the camera the more likely you are to find reliable evidence, I would always recommend using a 35mm camera as they tend to have a sharp image that can be easily examined.
There are a number of different recording devices you can use when conducting an investigation, most famously a tape recorder. Recording sound is used to try and pick up EVP signals from ghosts, some people believe that these signals are dead people trying to make contact. I would recommend using a digital recorder as they tend to hold a lot more memory and they are easier to transfer to a computer for analysis.
Computer software is not essential when you first start a paranormal research society but it does come in handy after time. Having the information you have collected presented in a professional way will make people treat your research more seriously. If people treat you seriously then you are much more likely to gain new members to your paranormal investigators club.
Starting a paranormal research society is pretty easy, its the expansion that is difficult. Once you have a few investigations under your belt then start trying to branch out and maybe buy some new equipment if you feel you need it. Maybe even collect donations from members if there is a certain item you have your eye on. There is no harm making a little money on the way, as long as you stay true to your roots.
