‘Potter’ charms international moviegoers
LOS ANGELES (AP) – “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1″ earned nearly $165 million during its first weekend of release in 40 territories outside of North America, pushing the overall global gross for the eight-film franchise to a record $5.7 billion and climbing.
