A group of scientists living on a strange planet — Annex One — are held there by one of their own scientists who has become a mutant due to the effect of the Radio Isotopes in the rainfall. This affected scientist wants to be cured before he will let others go back to Earth but they cannot bring him back in the Space Capsule for fear of contamination in close quarters.
